Current Issues Facing Society
About every couple weeks, students will research an issue facing American society or the world. Using ProCon.org primarily, students will look at both sides of controversial issues, assess the arguments, and decide for themselves where they stand based on solid, reliable information. This activity replaces the Current Events requirement of the course.
